Big Dick McGee
If you don't know, now ya know
Didn't watch this show, but a couple of my friends kept bugging me to watch it. They swore it would be right up my alley. I'm sure it is. But I told them, I'm pretty much done watching new shows on the major networks. Once lost is done, that'll be it for ABC. When Chuck, Heroes, & Life are inevitably canceled, no mo' NBC. Don't watch any CBS, and I won't because the only thing that won't get canceled is a new iteration of CSI. When "24" is done next year, that'll be it for Fox.
I'll stick with TNT, Showtime, FX, etc. Their shows don't need a huge audience, and are allowed to grow. I'm sick of getting invested in a show, only for it to be cancelled after half a season.
Still, I like the fact that Life on Mars will be allowed to finish its run, and wrap things up. I wish more networks would pre-plan for a show to have a set run. Not only would it make pretty much every episode a good one, it would allow viewers to feel like they're making a smaller committment to a show.
I mean, let's face it, as much as I LOVED Veronica Mars, season 3 was just so-so.
I think I'll wait until this summer, and download the whole series of Life on Mars.
