I dont know if Ace venture just seemed funnier when I was younger because I wasnt as sophisticated then, or if certain films only have a limited shelf time.

What you wouldn't read about was how Ray Finkle lost his mind was committed to a mental hospital only to escape and join the police force under the assumed identity of a missing hiker manipulating his way to the top in a diabolicl scheme to get even with Dan Marino for whom he blamed the whole entire thing!



And no, I didn't just copy and paste that. For some reason I've remembered that since I was at summer camp when I was like 13 and I don't doubt that I'll remember it till the day I die. It's just jammed in my head.

Those movies are just plain goofy...funny in an idiotic sort of way...but at least good for a laugh.

To be fair I havent seen it in years, so it might still be funny now, I should probably either get it on DVD, or find the VHS version thats still at my mums.

I saw the second one a while back. We (Mox and I) came upon the part where he crawls out of the rhino's bootay...couldn't help but laugh. That's still funny!

I thought it was stupid even when I was a kid. The only reason I laughed was because I couldn't believe there were people stupid enough to pay money to film it and people stupid enough to pay to watch it.
