I do have the money, but I know if I start collecting vintage Wars toys, I'd spend a fucking packet. And the shipping costs would be crippling.

They're heavy, plus good sturdy packaging to protect it - if something costs around $20-$30 you'll probably be paying another $20 for shipping. If you get a collection running, every $20+ would effictively be wasted if you're sourcing it from overseas. A serious collector would only consider getting the rarest items, or those in the best condition from abroad.
