I don't think he needed it. Once the user posted their IRL picture here at TK they lost the right to object to it being used for other purposes. But we all know you're only asking to stir up trouble so zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......
 
I never posted mine here. I forget who went looking at LoNAF or wherever to get them but I never posted pictures of myself at TK. That said, I don't mind in the least J&L using it. Dirk didn't post his either IIRC, someone else dredged it of Facebook and it made the rounds.

Also I'd like to add it was excellent hummus was absent from the video and Aqua was shown.
 
He doesnt need permission MDS. Unless you never posted the pic on the net before. Ive seen all the RL pix previously.

Regardless of your intentions behind the video, what you did clearly violates the board's rules. Also, the fact that most concerned posters were sports with the unauthorized usage of IRL info (pictures, in this case, that they did not choose to share on the board previously) doesn't make the way you acted any less retarded.
 
Yes, how dare you try to show a bit of community spirit, by creating and posting a largely inoffensive video you composed.

If anyone has issues with the video, you know who the admins are, and you know who you can PM to ask any questions about it. From my POV it's doing no harm to anyone, so it's staying.

Oh, and Marquis - shut the fuck up. As soon you're put you in charge of anything, we'll be sure to let you know. No doubt the aliens will have landed and initiated their evil plans by then, m'kay?

Just so you know, there is no "rule" against photos that you have posted somewhere online unless it identifies your RL info that can be used to hunt you down in RL. Anyway it looks like he changed it already.

Typical moderator wankery with the common motifs of "it stays/gets deleted because i say so", and "nobody put you in charge, so blah blah blah blah". Wasn't TK created as a reaction to mods/admins with such idiotic attitudes ?

You quoted a piece of the rules that make no reference to photographs, I then said if anyone has a problem they can PM an admin, and told you to shut the fuck up. That's the only point you made, I answered it. Basically, the only way you would be pleased here, is for the video to be removed and J&L to be banned or Daycared.

That would appear to fit quite snugly into your accusation of admins / mods with idiotic attitudes, so it appears you have no point.

If you honestly don't see how the aforementioned behavior violates the forum rules, and the best you could come up with is hide behind the pathetic excuse that there was no mention of "photograph" in a paragraph that categorically forbids the posting of anything pertaining to real life information without users' consent, then by all means i urge you to "ignore" my posts, you dumb fuck.
