I'll download it since 4 aren't showing it until January (so they can show the whole season uninterrupted OR SO I HEARD DON'T GET ANGRY WITH ME IF THEY SHOW IT IN TWO WEEKS) and sometimes they edit it and shit anyway I hope Simmons is okay.
 
Fitz will make sexy time with the alien rock thingy Simmons is trapped inside of and IT SHALL SET HER FREE.
 
I THOUGHT THE OPENER WAS PRETTY GOOD.

The opening bit with the box flying up to the plane was cool. Most of the episode was a lot of set up for the rest of the season but it was mostly well done set up and the writing is a lot less clunky now than previously (remember season one? FUCK.)

I liked that they got William Sadler back as the president like in Iron Man 3 and the continuity references didn't feel forced (apart from the Ant-Man one.)

Fitz was cool.

The cast feels a bit too big considering Ward and May weren't in it at all (and hardly any Jemma.)

SIMMONS IN SPAAAAAACE (like Pigs in Space but she's not a pig.)
 
I was sure they wouldn't rescue Simmons so quickly because usually these things take about eight episodes before anything happens, so I was surprised they got her back in this episode. It was a good episode and the rescue scene was well done (the whole episode had more of a visual flair than SHIELD often has.) On the other hand it seems like they've missed the chance to tell some "Simmons in space" stories? But I'm sure we'll get flashbacks and she might have brought an alien back with her or something.

May looked hot in her golf clothes.
 
I was afraid they'd end it on a cliffhanger and make us wait till next week to find out if Fitz saved Simmons. I'm really glad they didn't drag it out.
 
Yeah I was surprised they brought Simmons back this early and I hope they use it as an opportunity to develop her character instead of just making it about pouty Fitz because he got like a whole season to develop as a character last year.
 
The main problem with this episode is that Lincoln isn't that interesting. He's not terrible (yet) but I wouldn't care if he wasn't in the show and the kiss with Daisy wasn't convincing and seems to be dragging her down into a not as interesting story.

The Simmons scenes were good but they're obviously still witholding information so they could do the "we have to go back, Kate" ending.

I guess Hunter and Ward never met?

Is Coulson going to have dirty robot hand sex with Lady Coulson?
 
Yeah, Lincoln just isn't very interesting. They dragged out getting him to SHIELD for way too long, and then fucking Lady Coulson having a picture of Daisy fucked it all up. Skye was a member of SHIELD for a long time... how can she be an unknown? We have no records of this agent? Coulson didn't have to tell Lady Coulson (who he will totally have robot hand sex with) that she's an inhuman.

Not really interested in Hunter's quest for revenge either :rwmad:

Needs more Simmons and Fitz.
 
OH, I hadn't even thought of that. MAYBE HE IS. But why would he murder so many inhumans? Not just the bad ones.
 
Maybe the transformation makes him crazy or something. Even if he isn't Lash he definitely isn't dead otherwise they would have just shown his body instead of some shoes.
 
Or maybe he's killing hydra inhumans? IT REALLY COULD BE ANDREW. People are saying the hydra brat that was there to kill Andrew was running away from the store with a terrified face (which I didn't even notice). Maybe Andrew changed into Lash and put the fear in him.
 
I'm confused about this show:

BLACK MAN - dead - turned to stone and smashed

WHITE MAN - alive - vacation in Tahiti

BLACK MAN - dead - just recently

WHITE MAN - alive - after being drowned in a box

Why is being a black man a death sentence? Ferguson? Black lives DON'T matter?
 
The previews for next week make it seem like Andrew really is dead, but they could be trying to TRICK us.

Jemma's story was pretty good. I wonder if she's going to dump Will for Fitz.
 
GOOD EPISODE.

Elizabeth Henstridge was great.

Were they on EGO THE LIVING PLANET!?

Will didn't really look old enough to have been an astronaut fourteen years ago.
 
I liked this episode of The Simmons Show and Elizabeth Henstridge was really good and she was good in her space pants.
