On Criminal Minds, watched his girlfriend be killed by a lunatic. Or so they have made us, me believe.
WTF
I wasn't supposed to be watching Criminal Minds! I was going to watch instead some light hearted comedy and something feel good, and then I got sucked in!
And then after Criminal Minds was CSI on a boat, or in a Newsroom, or "Show where lady dies on News Desk after power outage in front of millions of viewers, or in front of nobody because noone actually watches the news anymore."

So I am here instead.

Jesus, why can't they just let a character have a girlfriend?! They have to kill her. Fuck.
 
To get you emotionally invested in the show. It's not as important to you as a viewer who Morgan is dating because as a fine male specimen it would be easy for him to get another lady. However Reid, struggling with his psychological and emotional issues, it's much more of an investment for him to start dating - and thus they have to screw with his girlfriend in the show to keep you watching. They force you to want to watch more to make sure everything turns out for the positive, even after how heartbroken you were from the previous episode. In a similar fashion, they show the most negative parts of the episode regarding characters in previews so that you will watch the show later in the week to find out what is really going on (because it's TV, and you know they couldn't possibly kill off your favorite character - RIGHT???)

I used to really enjoy CSI, but now find it's turned into something very predictable and too wrapped up in characters personal lives. I know you can't have crime the whole time, but if I wanted personal drama I'd watch soaps. I knew who had killed the news anchor 15 minutes in, much to the chagrin of the rest of my family. Although, after 12 years on the air I'm sure even they are running out of ideas.

Reason why I don't watch much TV anymore? Those damn TV executives and writers are manipulative bastards.
 
I was so pissed off that they killed Maeve. Number one, I love Beth Riesgraf (Parker from Leverage) and it would have been nice to have her recurring on the show.

And number two, as if Reid needs more fucking problems. BASTARDS
