Big Dick McGee

If you don't know, now ya know
I was at my Brother's wedding yesterday, having a fantastic time. My wife looked gorgeous, my son was the hit of the party, and the DJ was spinning some excellent music.

They did "New York, New York", and passed out some plastic fedora hats. I got a red one. A little while later, I was sitting down and I heard the familiar opening beats of "Billie Jean" being faded into the current song. I jumped up and told my wife to bring our son to the edge of the dance floor.

I moved over near the Bridal Party table (I was one of the groomsmen, but we had broken up and gone to separate tables by then).

So....long story short, Billie Jean starts playing and I start the routine I used to do back in the day. See, back in the day, I used to go to school dances, and since I was pretty chubby back then, I learned to imitate videos, to get girls' attention. So I was busting out the moves, and people were forming a semi-circle and clapping. I had the plastic fedora, and I even pulled off a couple of "Moonwalker" moves, like in your sig. Did a spin and threw the fedora like MJ. Even moonwalked, though I was a bit rusty. All of this in full tuxedo, by the way. It was a lot of fun, and everyone got a kick out of it.

Figured you'd like to hear about that. :)

Heh, you did well young padawan.

You didn't mention alcohol in your post but I'm guessing....

Next time try the moonwalk into the sidewalk into the five spin. That gets the crowd going some what. I hope you will be teaching your son the importance of a glide motion, it gets you laid on novelty value alone at least once. That said, there is a time and a place. ;)

Sounds like you had fun though, any pics?

^^I goofed, it was Saturday, not yesterday, and yes we have tons of pics, though not of me dancing. :( I'll see if someone else at the wedding took pics of that.
