I did until I found out my brother has Covid-19. So I need to get tested but I can't leave my brother alone in my apartment. And he's being a drama queen. He's not sick enough yet to get admitted to the hospital(he's tried 3 times now) and I can't find a testing site that tests for exposure and does the rapid testing anyway. I'm on vacation until January 5th. And they want me to quarantine for 14 days after my last contact with my brother even if I test negative. But I can't get him out of my apartment except to go to the hospital. I'm just going to self quarantine for the rest of my vacation. I feel fine, I don't have any symptoms.

I will. I just don't know where to go for exposure and rapid testing. And it's like a 12 hour wait in a waiting room and the hospitals are so overwhelmed I probably wouldn't get an appointment for weeks if I could get one at all. All the testing sites I looked up near me say you need to be showing symptoms to get tested.
 
AFAIK if you've been exposed to someone who is positive, you can get tested. Are you still in the hoosick falls area?

No I haven't been in Hoosick Falls for about 6 years. I was in Watervliet for 4 years and I'm coming up on two years in Albany. I'm just going to self quarantine for a few days instead of waiting 6-12 hours in a waiting room and then 4-7 days for test results. I can't find any place near me that has the rapid test that delivers results in about 40 minutes.

I think if you've been exposed it's a little different. I know AMC has quick testing, especially if you've been exposed. All testing is free in NY. How the fuck are you feeling?

I'm still feeling great. My brother still feeling bad. He's been here 5 days now. There's nothing I can do for him at my place that he can't do at his place. He was supposed to go home today after the Christmas weekend. I'm worried I'm going to get in trouble with the landlord if he stays here much longer. Or I'm going to have to call the police and landlord to get him removed from my apartment. I love him but I need him out of here so I can self quarantine, give the apartment a thorough cleaning, do laundry and food shopping.
