What is it at the moment? I think this is where having two jobs comes in for some. Or just the dole.

If I got paid that much and had kids I'd probably turn to stealing. Get food at the cheapest, scummiest discount supermarket, get as many clothes and other essentials as possible from market stalls and jumble sales, then nick the rest. That might just about leave behind enough money to pay one of the utility bills.

Jenny and the people that work with her get paid about 50p more than minimum wage, which is meant to cover the cost of the extra petrol driving around, and the cost of using their own mobile phones.
