MISFITS (E4)

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
Does anyone watch it? The first episode of the second series was on and it was quite good. Seemed a bit slicker and more focused than the first series. BUT I WON'T SAY ANYTHING ELSE IF NO ONE ELSE WATCHES, FUCK.

I don't watch it because I saw them all on Jonathan Ross once and the Irish guy was completely obnoxious.

Well his character is too, but he's still funny. Would you stop watching Caprica if you found out Eric Stoltz wished Parkinson's on Michael J. Fox!?

I watched a coupld of episodes recently and quite liked it. The Gorilla in a Gorilla suit made me laugh.

When it first started the trailers put me off too since it seemed like Skins with superpowers, only with an uglier cast. And for chavs. But the writing is quite good.

I watched the first episode of series three. It was pretty good. The new guy was quite funny, but there was a bit too much of him in this episode. Most of the new powers seem a bit rubbish but that's probably kind of the point. There was a girl with a nice bum.

So I watched the rest of series three (stopped after episode two for a while because it was pretty boring.) It's still a good show. Some episodes are better than others, but hey, that's true of everything probably! Rudy was a bit annoying at first since they were pushing him really hard, but the actor is good and he had some very funny moments later (the whole rape discussion in episode six.)

HOWEVER (series finale spoilers)...

Not happy at all that they killed Simon and Alesha. If they had to kill off anyone, why not Curtis who's the most boring character and dull actor by far? Yeah, the time loop thing fits, but they could have gotten out of it. The ending didn't have me looking forward to series four.

Good use of Jessica Brown Findlay in episode eight.
