I lived near Mount Rushmore for 8 years. We'd hear all the time people asking if there was going to be more faces carved. They can't do it. It won't structurally work.

Yep. Passed by it all the time. They've been working on that for ages, but they're making progress. Amazing, they're doing all of it with private donations. Not taking a penny of public funds.
