Prometheus - I missed the first 45 minutes or so, it was pretty good. If you're going to have giant aliens and giant robots destroying a city, this is the way to do it!

The Island - I missed the first 15 minutes or so... but this is a good movie to watch when you can't breathe. Scarlett Johansson is nice to look at.

Independence Day - I missed the first hour of this but I've seen it lots of times so that doesn't count, but CAN YOU SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE? I can't seem to get the tv on in time to see an entire movie. ANYWAY, this is a good movie if you like FUCK YEAH AMERICA stuff. My favorite is the drunk who was abducted by ALIENS and everyone thinks is nuts but totally saves the day.

Missing parts of Pacific Rim where people speak probably improves it (unless it's an Idris Elba speech.)

There are lots of movies that I only think about watching but never do, but if I'm sick I will watch movies movies movies. I will watch them over and over. I don't know why.

Last night I watched part of Armageddon! What a terrible movie, one explosive calamity after another, but it's still kind of fun to watch. I only saw it from the part where they get the Russian guy and I guess the entire space station goes to shit.

Also, I was watching it and realized Chick is Captain Weaver on Falling Skies!

Insurrection has been on HBO or Cinemax incessantly the past few months. Just Insurrection, no FC, or GEN -- drives me batty.

On the plus side, they've also been showing Car Wash a lot too.

Illness reduces my tolerances on movies an immense amount. I really enjoyed Hayden Christensens performance in Jumper last time I was ill.

To be fair, I was quite ill.

I watched Red 2 last night. I haven't seen Red. It was actually kind of fun, in a silly brainless way.
