Interesting. You only stopped about three times. Did you use your turn signals at all?

That seems incredibly long and tedious.

Lots of green stuff.

My commute to school is half a mile.

Well, I found it incredibly interesting

1. Not sure if you are, or are not "lumberjim" but you have released a lot of personal info all of a sudden - Mmmmmm.
2. I thought you were UK based

neverthless, I actually find (as a UK person) the humdrum everyday stuff that we all do more interesting than the big news stuff. It is how we live our lives. Therefore I like the idea of sharing a commute.

Mine is mainly on public transport, so will raise some stares if I do it in that style. Maybe a photo Journalist stylee. I also may hide some private info - not sure about revealing all...

this is taken on a saturday morning in early July so traffic is non existent. Usually, it's stop and go much of the way beginning when I get on the 'sure kill' (schuylkill) expressway rte 76 into Philly.... i figured the ride would be more enjoyable to the viewer without so much sitting still behind a trash truck.

I wondered why it was so quiet.

Also the sun looked high in the sky, so it was obvious it wasn't early in the morning.

I will remember this thread and try and post some pics in Jan.

Nice looking area. I don't think you could drive for that long in the UK without emerging from the greenery into some boring grey town. :)

Mine is 64 miles each way. 1 hour, 15 minutes in the morning. Anywhere from 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours in the evening. Holiday weekends, I can figure 3-4 hours evening commute, depending on what time I leave.

Are you coming from the Lehigh Valley area?? Ah, my old hometown, I used to commute from Center City to Plymouth Meeting, it was about an hour each way, I thought that was way too long, so I moved to Conshohocken to make it 10 minutes each way.

If only I knew I'd be spending 5 hours a day in the car to go 120 miles round trip...

Elverson is in northern Chester County. Right near Morgantown. Kind of between Exton and Reading

No video for me but you can probably get the gist of it.

Turn, turn, traffic light, traffic light, traffic light, turn, traffic light, train tracks, traffic light, traffic light, turn, turn, get out.

That is kind of my commute -
back out of the driveway and head south,
turn left
turn right
turn left
turn left
turn right (into the parking lot)
turn left (into the parking structure)
turn right (immediately upon entering the parking structure)
turn into a space to park
get out

Takes about 5 minutes to get to work if I don't get caught up behind a school bus or stopped at the tracks by a train and if I don't stop at McDonald's for coffee and a biscuit.
