My Eggs: Naturally Nested

Love Child

One Love
Label on the Carton:

Hens are fed an all vegitarian diet.
No animal fat. No animal by-products.

I am not naive, but it sort of grossed me out to think about what chickens are eating. I used to watch this guy at work every day feed chicken bones to sea gulls and they would eat them and poop them out! It was so gross! Its stuff like this that makes me go vegitarian.

I'm sorry, I hope this is the last one. I happened to be reading

"The Meditations of Linus" today. (Don't ask) I couldn't help but think of Wacky and Dr Dave and Cassie.
Lucy wants to watch television in her own room, so she grabs it and wheels it to her room and Linus says, " There is something symbolic about being run over by A portable TV While Reading a Book"

Chickens need calcium to lay all those eggs. I can't imagine why they'd put chickens on a vegetarian diet.. doesn't seem natural! Eggs taste better if the chickens are free range because they eat lots of bugs.

I did visit a farm where they fed meat to the chickens for protein. It was stuff they get at the local stores-they pick up all of their compost and sometimes meat that can't be sold, but is still okay (for chickens)
