My Hotwheel collection may grow this weekend!

King of Sarcasm
I was looking on E-Bay and stumbled upon another holy grail of Hotwheels being sold by the same store that started me off buying them when they had a salesmans sample case of cars being sold off. This time it is an almost complete Shell Gas Station promotional giveaway case from 1969 or 1970. This doesnt have very many of the original muscle cars, mostly concept cars but does have 8 Eldorados and a Charger. Also they have a Pink Skyshow which is extemely rare but I wont be bidding on that one, way too much for me to justify to myself to buy it. All of them are so mint its unbelievable! Oh well wish me luck! :D

You are buying these for your kids right?

:D

Not necessarily. There was that Jackass bit where they put a Hot Wheels car in a condom, shoved it up someone's behind and sent him to the doctor to find it.

Also, those orange strips of track make a nice spanking device. :day:

Let kids play with 40 year old mint Hotwheels? EGAD! No I dont have any kids that age. I am buying them as an investment. Im going to put them back on E-Bay in 3 or 4 years when the estate sale supply dries up. Now I must act quickly, I am being outbid! :O

Well I should update this. I didnt get any of them! The Eldorados all went for $300+, the Charger went for nearly $600 and the Pink Skyshow went for over $1,000! My God there are a lot of people out there with cash and nothing better to do with it! Oh well in a few years hopefully they will be lining up to buy the ones I have. I did win one yesterday, a lime colored Cougar for $168. BTW, If anyone wants to buy collectables, August is the time to do so. Many people are on vacation and you have a good chance of getting something nice very cheap.
