DAY 3: THE TALKENING

6:30 AM - The topic is now outlet malls, sweaters, hoodies, and tennis shoes.

7:30 AM - Discussion of "buy one get one free" - from bread to cereal.

8:30 AM - The need to get dressed and go to the flea market is tossed about.

9:00 AM - Discussion turns to need to get going before it gets too hot... OOPS not yet, need to eat some breakfast.

9:30 AM - ALMOST OUT THE DOOR, NEED TO TALK ABOUT ONE MORE THING.

10:00 AM - SILENCE FALLS ACROSS THE LAND. I HEAR BIRDS CHIRPING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 3 DAYS.
 
THANK GOODNESS MY SISTER IS HERE.

If not for her I wouldn't know why my satellite stops working in even the LIGHTEST OF RAIN. Well, only some channels stop working. I've been blaming a tree, then I connected to my brother's satellite and I blamed a different tree. WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE? Anyway, my sister is staying at my brother's (it's next door and he moved in with his girlfriend a few months ago) and she wanted to watch True Blood and so did I... BUT storm clouds were gathering and it started to rain. I told her if HBO didn't work we'd go to mom's and watch it on her tv (we all live next door to each other). So my HBO stopped working, OF COURSE, and I called her and told her to meet me at mom's. SHE SAID NO BECAUSE THIS TV IS WORKING... me - :rwmad:

The whole time it has been the multiswitch thingy. It gets wet, and FREAKS OUT. I don't need the multiswitch because I no longer have multiple receivers in my house. OMG I wish I had checked that months ago.

My mom is a talker too. And then she gets upset when we "interrupt" her, complain about not being able to get a word in, or start our own seperate conversation.
 
I run out of safe stuff to talk about after a few minutes. I try not to talk politics or religion or anything like that because I am like the Lone Ranger on those issues and THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH.

In my family too!

Also when my best friend from HS comes to stay with me she does things like, "I'm ready to go now" and I'm like, "I need to eat breakfast" and she says, "Oh I don't eat breakfast, lets go"
