Imus has been a cranky, drooling, senile old coot for over a decade now. I used to listen to him all the time when I was a kid but now it's just painful, him and his whole cranky white boy crew.

I can visit the front porch at an old folks home in Texas and hear the exact same thing. Without the lame skits and repetitive blues tunes, too.
 
I've never listened to him, but I think it's silly that Al Sharpton has his panties in a bunch over nappy headed hos.

Yes, he has said much worse than this over the years, but I guess some people were actually listening that day.

As usual the "black leaders" have taken this all too far. Why do we, as a society, feel that we have to bow down to them? Calling them nappy headed hos was rude, yes.. but shit we aren't promised a life free from offense.

Perhaps what I mean to say, is that the response to these "black leaders" has gone too far. Everyone has a right to weep and wail and pull their hair out, but we don't have to cave in to political correctness every time someone says something offensive.
 
He should be allowed to express his opinion in a non violent matter. Minorities want equality but want to destroy all free speech that insults them. Speak your peace on the matter, and move on. If some Black DJ was on the air making fun of whites no one would even blink an eye. Hell, it'd probably be mostly white people listening and laughing along.

If you're proud of being white, you're a racist. If you don't bow down to so called "black leaders" (formerly known as African-American or Afro-American) you're racist. If you don't have a "Martin Luther King Jr." St., Ave., or Blvd. in your city you're racist and let's just face it, every police officer ever to don a uniform that isn't a "minority" is racist.

I'm no longer so sure freeing the slaves and not shipping their asses back to their mud huts in hell-on-earth Africa was such a great idea.

ALSO: I'm sure black leaders don't represents the majority of blacks. I've never heard D'Lo Brown demand "more rights" than Headbanger Mosh.
