Need to do a little venting

But not in an angry way. (I know, right?)

So, someone very close to me is having some serious medical issues. As I type this, she's having some tests done so the doctor can see behind her inflamed pancrease. The first MRI he took, he couldn't tell if anything was there, so now he's doing something other than an MRI to see if there's a tumor back there.

I'm just angry and upset because she's got enough medical issues as it is. Lupus, pneuminitis (her lungs will eventually crystalize and harden) and now this? I mean, give the gal a fucking break. She's in constant pain as it is, and now with the pancreaitis she is suffering from, she's in even more.

I'm trying to keep a positive outlook on this, and we should hear the results later this morning, but since I can't talk to anybody other than family right now because she hasn't told anybody else, I just needed to get a few things off my chest.

Whew.

Actually it's my sister. She sometimes gets pissy when we talk to other about her medical conditions, but at this point, I don't fucking care. And I don't know why I used "someone close to me." It's not like she's ever been or will ever come to this board. LoL.

Wow. I'm really sorry to hear about that. I've had family members with serious health problems, but nobody as close as a sister. I really hope things improve for her, if nothing else than her being in less pain.
 
More proof that if god exists he's an asshole.

That is good news! They can do gallbladder surgery laproscopically (however you spell it).
