I so agree. Blockbuster blows. First, the people who work there are retarded. Second, they do not carry nc-17 movies. Third, they do not carry any good documentaries.

Ordering films on the net is great. I especially love the interface at netflix. Apart from amazon, it's probably the easiest site to use. Order as many as you want. Drop them in the mail to return them.

But I still like the instant gratification of walking into a video store (the one where I live they treat me like a Goddess b/c I have some kinda gold status) and getting what I want & grabbing take-out on the way home. As I understand it, you have to wait for Netflix to send it to you, then you have to wait for them to get it back & then you have to wait for them to send you your next choice. I may want to watch a movie one day, but if I don't get to it, I won't even get the same inclination for another month or so.

That's true about video stores, and that's the hangup I originally had, before joining netflix. But what I love is that you can have two or three movies at a time. And, you can get newly released movies the day after they come out.

I hate going to stores for almost anything any more. Whenever I can, I get it from the net.
