SHINY!

I haven't installed the bastard yet.

Me either. Whenever any program asks if I want to update I instinctively hit the "Remind me later" button. I'm such a lazy shit.

I finally installed it today. So far, so good. Nothing earth shattering good/bad yet.

I don't like the anti-porn feature. Firefox 3 doesn't allow you to view pornographic materials. All the good parts are covered by black boxes.

Well that doesn't sound very useful.

So far it just looks a little different, plus it asks if you want to save your tabs before you close them.

I HATE IT THEN.

You guys are upgrading to FF3 NOW?

Jesus.

I didn't upgrade instantly because some of my coveted plug-ins didn't work straight away but now that everything has had upgrades FF3 is a superior browser to FF2.

They're only about four months late, Menty. ;)

We all waited till we got the "hey there's a new version!" pop-up. Plus, I heard a few stories about FF3 crashing a bit.

I am just converted back to firefox 2 nights ago. LOL
*Runs*

We wait for the brave ones to go beta first, then we hop on the wagon once the jungle has been machete'd.

WELL EXCUSE US

I just update when I get the pop ups, didn't get one till last night. Was there a FF 3, and now there's a 3.0.1? I thought I already had FF3.

Was there a Firefox 69 lol sex?

Well the FF3 beta has been out for about a year but the final version has been around for quite a while as well.

Just surprised since it was one of the biggest tech stories of the year with Mozilla gunning for the world record of downloads in a 24 hour period or whatever it was.

Which they achieved I believe.

I had such a fine time with FF2 that I wasn't in a hurry to seek out an upgrade. Then the pop-up windows started this past week alerting me that I hadn't been assimilated, so I did it. And it's fine. I'm in no hurry to learn about tags and whatnot, but if they end up proving useful, great.

I have had some problems with illegal functions.

Not with Firefox, I do illegal things myself, when not on the internet.
