New wines

The local shop is very cool, a little on the expensive side on some bottles, but really into it.

My new fave: Single Vineyards Cabernet from Chile. 20 dollar cab they're introing for 9 dollars. Best fucking cab I've had in years.

Tonight Im going to try this Cabernet Franc. never had a franc before, so Im airing it the fuck out. Will have a taste before the movie and see what its all about.

Anyone else had a Franc ever? New to me.

I don't really like the taste of wine, but The Blood of Christ is a good tasting vintage.

Also the fruity wines I had once at a wine tasting weren't that bad.

Cabernet Savignon is my least favorite wine... never heard of a Franc before.

I'm giving blood tomorrow, maybe I'll pick up some wine to refill the pint I'll be missing. I like a nice Australian Shiraz.

I don't like the really oaky or peppery dry wines but not too sweet either. Finger lakes vinyards have quite a few high quality wines for reasonable prices.
