I know none of you knew that the reason you Yanks are spilling your blood in Iraq is over oil. Nope, not untill His Greatbness, George "Dubya" Bush told you did you know that America is positively enslaved to foreing oil.
But King Geoge, himself wealthy from oil, has declared that they are going to find alternative fuels. Gee, is it me, or have we known this sincve the 70's? And why, in the name of God's polluyted earth should we beleive that Curious George here really wishes to change a situation that made him millions?
Mates, I tell you he is full of horseshit, and if I didn't know any better, I would suspect old Curious George is pissed on television. Perhaps he is still addicted himself, eh?

He didn't say we were enslaved to oil. The exact quote was: "addicted to oil". This is hardly news. But the same is true of any large industrialized society. Why do you think there's been such an increased demand for oil in China and India?

Calling him King George just makes you look like a jackass. While it is true he has overstepped his constitutional limits with the wire tap issue, he is far different for a monarch. He can be impeached, he was elected, and there is still a system of checks and balances in place to avoid total concentration of power. Though, I suppose you make yourself look idiotic even without that comment given your spelling.

As to the alternative energy sources, even if we have been aware of the need for them since the 70's, he's not been in charge that long. So why not complain about past Presidents not addressing the matter? Because it would hinder your ability to blame everything on the neocons?

Now, it is important to point out, he didn't become rich from he oil. He is part of an old money family with diversified interests. And given that he was a failure at business, its not like he owes anything to the oil industry or has a vested interest in it. At least not in the context you're suggesting. And to blame the environment on him is absurd. The state of the environment is the result of global industrialization, without which you wouldn't have any of the creature comforts which occupy your time.

Is he full of horseshit? Maybe. But moreso than the average politician? I sincerely doubt him. Just because you disagree with his agenda doesn't mean he is any more corrupt or unethical than the average politician. He's certainly less scandelous than many of his predecessors.
