In December 2003 the FBI warned Americans nationwide to be on the lookout for people reading Almanacs as this could indicate an act of terrorism in planning. Almanacs are popular glove box inventory of any vehicle and this ludicrous fearmongering was met with a raucous response from satirists and news commentators.

I remember being stuck in an empty shipping container with a chemical suit at my feet. They then throw in a tear-gas grenade and slam the door on us, we made it into the suits in less than a minute.

This was back in..mmm...1991 (Dessert Storm), unless the suits have changed a lot, it doesn't take that long.

When this latest incursion was developing that's the feed we got from CNN. 20 minutes, supposedly when the warning sirens went off. We supposedly thought he would bioweapon all the footsoldiers or some such.

I don't understand. Two weeks ago I saw a show about 9-11 where a reporter shows a clip of George Bush addressing the media about the attack. It was shown on the same day of the attack. In his address, George Bush talked about how he saw clips of both planes hitting the building. The reporter says this is impossible since the clip of the first plane hitting the building was not shown until after Bush's address. He claims a conspiracy is afoot. I had seen the video showing that same clip on the day of the attack so I have no idea what the reporter is talking about. It was right here on our Montreal news.

This is just like the failing grade that cities are getting for disaster preparedness...

The fact of the matter is that you cannot be prepared for a sudden disaster in a big city. People will die either from the disaster or from panic. No matter what you do that cannot be changed.
