Sure they terrorized Europe for centuries. Sure they get a bit fanatical about an ideology here and there. That and they produced Richard Wagner (but I'll let that slide as they also produced Eva Habermann). However, I like their cars, and the trains reportedly run more or less on time.

But Mostly, I appreciate any people that devote 17-18 days to drinking beer, wearing leather shorts, and cleavage.

Somehow Santa Cruz's "International Beer Day" (Aug 5) just doesn't have the same impact.

And yes, I find this philosophical.
