So Obi Wan beats Anakin, its a hard fight to be sure, be he manages to cut off his arm and legs without so much as a stab wound himself (considering he get stabbed twice by Dooku).

He then leaves him to be burnt to death (very jedi, not!)

At some point after that he must realise that Anakin didnt die.

What does he do then?

Does he go after the guy who he already beat when he was an (almost) complete man, but is now almost all machine (consider how easily he despatched Grievous), who cant use force lightning, and needs a portable iron lung just to breath.

No, instead he chooses to grow old, and wait for one of Anakins own kids to kill him for him, while he becomes one with the force so he can sneak into womens locker rooms.

So the man who beat Maul, Grevious, and Anakin at his strongest wont even attempt to beat Vader?

What a tool.
 
Yoda too. Yoda could have kicked the crap out of Vader. Then he and Obi could have taken down Paply. But instead they wait for whiny little Luke to grow up and let the galaxy go to hell.
 
Yoda could have just stood a hundred yards away from Vader and just crushed the controls to his breathing apparatus.
 
Vader had Boba Fett guarding him at all times!
 
Boba Fett could've been beaten by Mace Windu, who never died but instead got married and fathered Lando, because Yoda and Obi gave up.
 
YODA used the Force to see the future and could tell they shouldn't go after Vader again because they'd fail.
 
That's the biggest damn cop-out. People should be less pissed off about Jar Jar and more pissed off about that.
 
But there was a Obi Wan / Vader fight - and I would argue Obi Wan lost.
 
Obi wasn't fighting to win that, he was fighting to get Vader into the right place so he could give up and frighten Luke, teaching him a lesson or sommat.
 
HE KNEW THAT ANI WAS THE CHOSEN ONE AND HE TO LIVE TO KILL THE EMPORER, OKAY

Obi-Wan knew he had to bide his time becaise when Ani became Vader he acquired the power of CHUCK MUTHAFUCKIN NORRIS BITCHAZ.
