If you don't feel like reading through all of this, here are the cliffs and latest news.
Cliffs
Some guy (who I thought was french, but now seems to be nigerian.. he emailed me with an @yahoo.fr account) started messaging me on my website asking to send him cash if he sends a check. Large conversations follow and he sends me a photo of himself while I await a photo of him holding a watermelon and a sign that says "OT pozed my neg hole".

Latest News
He asked questions regarding how the photo should be set up.... looks like we're going to get a photo of someone holding a watermelon and a sign. Just waiting on that to come in, it might take him a day though

So for those of you who don't know, I built and run ClearCheckbook.com. I got an email in my inbox this afternoon that didn't make sense. Here's the conversation that followed:

My Reply (thinking he was just trying to figure out how to change the account type on the website):
I think all you have to do is click on the "Account" on the accounts list and it will turn into a drop down box. From there, you can select your cash account instead of a check.

ClearCheckbook is only for managing transactions. We cannot actually exchange money. Our website is just a way for you to balance your checkbook and keep track of your expenses. If you want to turn your check into cash, you will need to go to your bank and do that.
