Even in my former life as a regular SS poster, I never remember people taking everything so seriously. I mean EVERYTHING. There is a level of hypersensitivity there that is just amazing. People falling over themselves to be offended at some offhand remark (or punctuation!!! }@ ) and others falling over themselves to make sure no one took offense at some offhand remark.

There were some pretty big errors in judgement made recently and I'm sorry to say I think it might have gone too far to be set right.

For anyone interested, "prayer meeting" in the chatroom every evening this week.

I have a question about EI punctuation.

If someone there posts...for example:

{{{{{{Rov}}}}}}

Does that mean "Rov is surrounded by dicks" ?
 
I think a thread should be started on the Beach where each and every staff person is given such a hug. Who knows - if they see it as an olive branch instead of something else, maybe it could be one.
 
Well, one thing's for sure: you can't trust the EI staff to come to a rational conclusion. And the irrational is so unpredictable...

When I was in third grade, I threw my lunchbox at this girl I really liked, but she would never talk to me. Hit her with it too, and was going to get the stick for it, but JFK got shot, so they decided to suspend the punishment.

The EI staff has determined that this } and { are representation of a penis.
Therefore can also be called dicks.

Yes, Rov is surrounded by dicks in your example.
