Keep in mind that Josh is barely one step above G1984 in his vocal opposition of TKers at EI.

Originally, the position was developed to prevent the staff from acting improperly behind the scenes.

However, the staff chooses the person doing the job. While the first several were good, at least the last three have been "safe" decisions that wouldn't rock the boat.

Now, its just another useless postion on a bloated, blowhard board.

Yeah, the members send in suggestions. But there is no record released of who nominated who, and how you came to your decision.

So, the majority of people can suggest "theoretical member 1" for the position, yet, one person suggested "safe member 2", and you guys select the "safe member." It isn't the board's choice. Its yours. And, I might add, its not above you guys to have one of your own patsys to make that "suggestion", just to insure that a "safe" person gets the job.

Your selection process reeks of corruption. And the last three choices support that argument.

On a more serious note, I'm going to do my job. If I catch a mod/admin saying something inappropriate about a board member (whether a TK member or not) in the SL, I'll call them on it. It's your choice whether you want to believe me or not.

I was thinking that too. Yes, these could be perfectly valid procedings, OR human nature could take over and maybe someone who is more inclined to agree with the admins opinions wins over someone with more votes.

You can call me paranoid or bitter if you'd like, because it's likely true on both accounts.
