One of the great baseball games was played last night

That two run homer in the top of the 13th should have said it all for the Padres. They look even dumber than the Mets, if that's possible.

Rockies are kind of magnificent to watch. THAT FIELD IS HUGE.

Yep, I am now officially a Rockies fan for the playoffs.

The game started out like a typical Coors Field 6-6 slugfest, and then both bullpens shut things down for a couple of hours. It looked like the momentum had shifted towards the Padres, especially in the top of the 13th after Julio Boolio fucked up, but the top of the order for Colorado came back in classic fashion!

I will fight the Phillies....never liked 'em much anyway......

GO ROCKIES! That was indeed an awesome game. Picked up my spirits a little.

Not only is their field huge, the high altitude creates a very home run-friendly atmosphere.

I couldn't root for San Diego anyway. Their uniforms are hideously drab.
