One place you want to visit before you die

Is there one place in the world you really just have to visit before you die? I thought about this for awhile, and as much as I want to visit Scotland and Ireland for a golf trip, my answer is a no-brainer.

I really must visit Africa, and go on safari before I die. As a matter of fact, I am saving up to try to make this happen within 3 years. In 3 years I'll be 40, and I want to mark this milestone in style. I want to go first-class all the way, to wake up in a nice hotel and then head to a savannah and see lions and leopards and rhinos in their element. I want to feel like I'm the trespasser, like the animals are looking at me like I'm in a cage. And of course, we need to see giraffes, my son's favorite animal. I need to do this soon because at the rate African savannahs are disappearing, in 10 years a safari might resemble a trip to the San Diego zoo.

I've been to Ireland, but I have to go again and see the countryside. Last time it was straight from Galway to Dublin.

I want to go to Australia. The guys are hot there. Well the ones without piggy noses anyway. I don't need the Outback, I'll keep to civilization.

I'd like to see Italy, Russia, Hawaii, Paris, and maybe hang around London for a while.

Oh, and Toronto and Montreal for some reason. Not sure why.

OK, I'll answer this seriously now.

1. I really want to go to America. Any part. I want to sit in an American bar, talk with American people. I've spent so long shooting the crap with them on the Internet, and the fact there is no language barrier really appeals to me.

2. New Zealand. I simply must go at some point.

3. Australia. Bondai Beach & the Sydney Cricket Ground being two main areas of interest for me.

4. Quebec, Canada. At some point when I've finally cracked my family's history, I want to go there and finish the job off in the records offices.
