The others are interesting too. I only spotted the Lost Time thing, never would've guessed the plane flying over was an Oceanic, or that the bus had an advert for those bars everyone's been eating.

In physics, the Casimir effect is a physical force exerted between separate objects, which is due to neither charge, gravity, nor the exchange of particles, but instead is due to resonance of all-pervasive energy fields in the intervening space between the objects. Since the strength of the force falls off rapidly with distance it is only measurable when the distance between the objects is extremely small. Dutch physicist Hendrik B. G. Casimir first proposed the existence of the force, and he formulated an experiment to detect it in 1948 while participating in research at Philips Research Labs. The classic form of his experiment used a pair of uncharged parallel metal plates in a vacuum, and successfully demonstrated the force to within 15% of the value he had predicted according to his theory.

The van der Waals force between a pair of neutral atoms is a similar effect. In modern theoretical physics, the Casimir effect plays an important role in the chiral bag model of the nucleon, and in applied physics, it is becoming of increasing importance in development of the ever-smaller, miniaturised components of emerging micro- and nano-technologies.

Yeah, all that stuff about the numbers being an equation that brings all the world together in harmony or whatever still hasnt' been mentioned on the show.
 
I think most of this stuff will be eventually revealed on the show. Did you watch the video in the link? Someone over at abc typed up what the secret message was.

Juliet, Juliet it's me, I've been trying to contact you for years and warn you......since I knew they were coming to get you....since before you left.....this is the only way....communications out there Juliet. But Hanso has been doing experiments on humans for years. and you're in one....the (inaudible) experiment. You are one. We all are. The hanso foundation, the JWC, Widmore Corporation, Mittelos Biosciences. It's all the same Juliet. Over a century they've been in control they've been killing us. They were trafficking slaves in the 1800's not to sell....They're going to KILL YOU!....And they were the ones who commissioned Valenzetti....still doing experiments on humans......Just don't let them know that I contacted.....
 
I've decided not to watch the show anymore.
 
I watched the vid. I was more concerned that the little girl was going to be fucking confused telling someone she'd never heard of that she missed and loved them than I was about what was said.

I wonder how the vid would've got to the islands? We already know they have knowledge of current events, maybe the net.

Maybe they let the families think they're getting the messages, so they set up email address. They probably even reply to them, they've done enough research on everyone that they probably could successfully imitate them in an email.

The others are doing experiments and they are in an experiment.. I sure hope they can tie all this up before it's done.
 
Well let's hope that we dont all get invested in the show's arcane sub-plots & double entendres and then the writers have a falling out over contracts/ artistc control/ and they dumb it down and ruin it like Andromeda.

That show made a cynic of me.
 
Yeah, but then RDM(I'd forgotten he worked on Andromeda) wrote that article about how the series should have ended.
