Of course with only 16 or 17 episodes left, if it was on now it would be over forever by Christmas.
 
I don't want it to end yet! There's nothing to replace it, it'll leave a big hole in my TV viewing just like BSG did.

I have it on good authority that, in the end, they return from the Delta Quadrant and they've only been gone like 2 years due to a reset of the space-time continuum.
