Players to Watch Out For

Gagh

Χριστόφορος
This is my list of players to watch out for - this doesn't include well-known established stars! Happy to discuss with anyone, if you're wondering who the hell they are, and why I've chosen them

Germany: Bastien Schweinsteiger, Lukas Podolski
Poland: Euzebiusz Smolarek, Maciej Zurawski
Trinidad & Tobago: Chris Burchill
Argentina: Carlos Tevez
Ivory Coat: Emmanuel Eboue, Bonaventure Kalou, Aruna Dindane
Serbia & Montenegro: Nikola Zigic
Mexico: Zinha
Portugal: Simao
Italy: Daniele De Rossi
USA: Eddie Lewis
Czech Republic: Jaroslav Plasil
Croatia: Niko Kranjcar
Australia: Tim Cahill
Switzerland: Philippe Senderos, Johan Vonlanthen
Spain: Iniesta

Other than that, I can't wait to find out about all the players from the countries I know absolutely nothing about!

They're tough as a unit, but it's also tough to pick out any young or relatively unknown players, because they're all very experienced.

Thanks for the list. As I mentioned elsewhere, I would add Kikin Fonseca (Mexico) to the list of players to watch out for

Kallstrom and Wilhelmsson are supposed to be admired talents .. I know that there was a lot of talk within Ajax about them. Rosenberg might impress if he gets a chance.

For the Dutch team ... we're going with already settled players .. but Babel might get a chance. I'm hoping for Sneijder and Maduro to gain some good experiences.

^Ah, yeah Kim Kallstrom. I shouldn't have forgotten him, given he was a perpetual buy on just about every version of Championship Manager (along with Mikael Dorsin).

I'll be watching him now, for sure.

Here's some more off the top of my head.

Argentina: Leonel Messi and somename Palacios
Brazil: Fred
France: Barthez <---- he would wish the old sack of shit. :rwmad:

aw, c'mon - he reminds me of Jean Luc Picard!
'sides - I WANT the French to have an ancient Keeper....he may be the only Achillles heel they'll have.

Cahill scored a couple for Australia today. Zinha looked fantastic and netted after coming on for Mexico yesterday. Zigic looked shite, alas. Dindane also looked sharp when coming on for the Ivorians. Burchill also worked very well for T&T.

^Now I'm sorry to have missed the Australian game..from all accounts it was interesting.

Speaking of who to watch, he's not new per se, but we were ALL watching Himself yesterday!! What a surprise...Did you suspect they'd bring him on for game #2?

Nope, but then we didn't see much of Rooney, because England were absolutely awful.

Burchill, however, had a good match.

They must've thought he was a good luck charm. Those sports folk can be mighty superstitious.

Paladin ask why is no mention of great player Luis Figo of Portugal? He older guy is but very talent has! Paladin is also ask why Portugal - Iran is still 0-0? Portugal is by now should be lead is score 3-o from first half alone. Question Paladin has 'what is going on?'

Paladin tell Gagh fagh guy Rooney is what so special? Many players better play for England than is Rooney. Michael Owen is make Rooney look like player amateur. Excusez-moi but game Iran vs. Portugal half-time break over. Paladin return after Portugal is smarten up kill Iranian Muslim mothafuckas.

BECAUSE THIS WAS FOR GENERALLY LESS WELL KNOWN PLAYERS.

You seem to know something about footy so do us all a favour AND POST NORMALLY, not like some smacked up knobber who needs a seriously good fucking kicking. I'd love to chat with you, but you're too busy being a total cunt to get any use out of this forum. Drop the act and behave normally for once in your life.
