Portlandia?

It's really good, and Adama and Baltar are IN IT. WATCH IT.

Pretty goddamn funny show. I always wonder while I'm watching if the people of Portland are proud or offended. I mean if they're proud to be that way (and let me tell you they are that way) would they be privy to the joke? And if not wouldn't they not understand why they should be offended but still not get the joke?

Damn approaching singularity fucking up all the sensical tv.

Fun fact, the mayors assistant on Portlandia is played by the current mayor (Sam Adams).

For the record not all of us are like that.

My take on it is that well I have a sense of humour about the city. I think Portland is tops, I have little interest in moving, but if you cant laugh at stuff, then what the heck ya know?

I lived in Portland some time ago so I'm familiar with the breed.

So Dr. Dave are you a NW hippie snob? SW white trash? Beer runs and meth in Gresham? NE crack slingin' homeboy? Nothing quite like a nice cup of joe watching people mill around in Pioneer Sq. eh? I hope there's a juggler.

We could alway head down to Lake Oswego and try to get a rich white girl drunk. Shouldn't be too hard as they usually show up drunk.

I was born (typed bored there lolz) and raised in Portland and currently reside in the metro area.

So yeah I too am aware of the various peoples in the area.

I'm not a fan of downtown. It's the sort of place (for me) that it's a place you pass through to get to where your going.

I lived in Portland about a million years ago. Loved Powell's. I was in the SE I think, then out to Beaverton and Hillsboro for a while. I even lived in ittty bitty Detroit for a while. Miss the woods. The people not so much.
