I forgot they were moving it to sundays. That sucks so much. I like downloading it on a Saturday and having the weekend to watch it. I'm not gonna get enough time during the week to download as soon as it's on 
yeah that's bad for the downloaders but it's so much better for TV viewing since so many people are out on Fridays. The ratings haven't been so great this year AND oh have you seen the Tricia Helfer playboy px? I would so like to dip her in chocolate.

I saw a preview show for the upcoming new episodes of BSG and they are going to start to kill off some characters. Seems the writers and producers had a definitive "fixed" story to tell when they started, and they're sticking to it - which means you won't see BSG do a 10 year run on TV. Maybe 4 seasons at the most.

If you've ever seen the original series it's much like that. The story is very simple, and iirc, it's explained somewhat at the beginning of 33(the first regular series episode).
The Cylons were created by man, they rebelled, they evolved, they disappeared for about 40 years or something. The last time they were seen they looked like walking toasters(original series centurions), but unknown to the humans, the Cylons now look and feel like a playboy model. They're indistinguishable from real humans and have infiltrated the Colonial military and one Cylon has managed to seduce Baltar to the point that he gives her access to the central defense skynet thingamy. With this knowledge they neutralise all Colonial forces, destroying every defenseless ship they encounter and nuking the homeworlds.
Meanwhile, Commander Adama has always been wary that the Cylons may return and has refused to install vulnerable networked computers on his ship, so when the attack happens, Galactica isn't effected. Elsewhere, an education minister on a passenger ship discovers she's the highest ranking surviving government official, making her president of the colonies(or whatever's left of them). She sends out a message for all surviving ships to meet her, naturally the cylons also get the message but are defeated by some technobabble at the last moment, then galactica takes the rag tag fleet under its wing and sails off into the unknown, searching for a shining beacon of hope, named Earth.
A a big improvement! I don't understand why all the male Cylons are ugly, except for Leoban and he's just slightly handsome. There are still Centurions, they are not the brains of the Cylons.
I bought season 1 and 2, and the mini series came with season 1. Do they not sell them the same everywhere? If not that sucks hairy donkey balls.
