Pressures mount on Bush to bomb Iran

President George W Bush is coming under enormous pressure from Israel - and from Israel's neoconservative friends inside and outside the US administration - to harden still further his stance toward Iran.

Oh yes, let us please spend more of our money and our children's lives on what Israel wants!

The smart money will be to vote Republican in 2008 -- not in spite of Bush, but because of Bush.

In 2008, Democrats will put up someone just as bad as Bush has been, because they'll believe that after the antics of the Republicans between 2000 and 2008, a Democrat candidate can't lose -- but the Republicans will be a party full of the penitent and the humiliated. They'll put up the best candidate for the job simply because they'll have no other choice.

I don't think it's really going to matter who gets it in the short term.

The American public wants change. And whoever we elect, change will not come fast enough to make the majority happy.

When both sides of the aisle are owned by Israel, change won't come at all.
