should have loved this movie
Alien franchise - one of those movies made for me.
Has all the necessary elements to identify this movie as a prequel to the Aliens franchise.
An interesting question was raised.
There could have been some real beauty and wonder in this film and there was a promise of it, briefly, then it didn't deliver.
Maybe I'll like it better another day.
Today, it is just okay.

Had dinner with a friend this evening. We actually talked about this movie. Okay. Maybe I liked it better than I thought. Maybe I'll see it again when it comes out on DVD.

How would Benedict Cumberbatch have been as David 8? Michael Fassbender was great, but just wondering.

I found it very entertaining. It dropped the plot-ball several times. Apparently the director's cut BluRay answers a lot of the plot questions.

I still like Alien, Aliens, and Resurrection more, but it would be right next to them on the shelf. I loved the surgery scene.

The only thing that made me really irate is when the bimbo bitch kept running straight instead of running at an angle. Oh well.
