PSP is a fully functional laptop computer now.

It's amazing. Just did the new upgrade, and all I need to do is be near a wireless network, like within a quarter mile, and the Bluetooth locks the IP right in.

Browsing is easy. Multiplayer online is effortless with any game. I can check my email, and respond to it. It needs a keyboard hack, but it's fully functional. I'm posting this from it now

[The Question]

The PS3 is being touted as a full-on desktop replacement, on a related note. Although -- WERE I to ever buy a console system -- it will be a second- or third-generation (post major bugs) Xbox 360, because it would be doing double duty as a gaming system and as a replacement for my home theater. (And yes, BG gets the home theater if and when that happens, if he wants it.)
