He certainly likes useing a scalpel, so he would in theory be good at it.

Hmm, I remember the last season of SFU was actually better than the previous few...or maybe I'm just remembering the last episode being awesome.

The last season wasn't the problem. I had more of a problem with the 3rd/4th seasons for being so relentlessly downbeat. The writers were just beating up on the characters for a long time, with very little relief or comic release. I thought it got better by the end.

Also it had one of the best finale episodes of any show in TV history.

I was only watching sporadically by the last season cuz of the yes- down beat of the writing - is a diplomatic way to put it. So in all honesty i was already disengeged by that time....And I remember thinking (at the finale) why couldnt there have been more of THAT? ah well. too little too late for a show that I started out just loving.
PLEASE DONT LET THAT HAPPEN TO DEXTER>

I saw the final episode, where it showed how everyone died. That kinda sucked, especially how Dexter's lover died.

Well, everyone DOES die in life eventually. Some get long lives (Claire was 105 or something, wasn't she?) some are gunned down on the job at 60.
