Last night, I had a date. What did we do? We appeared on the ABC series WIFE SWAP. We were the Goth couple, so they crowned us, King and Queen Prom Sluts. Then the Key West wife was wisked onto a plane to her new temporary family. Next week, the other wife comes here, and we have to do it again. I haven't got the air date yet.

Washington state mom Sarina McDonald (36) is a real estate agent by day and burlesque dancer by night. She sees burlesque as an artistic craft and loves to celebrate her femininity on stage as her alter ego, Ravenna Black. Sarina doesn't feel the need to hide her passion from her sons, Will (12) and Tyler (5), with whom she is very open.

Both kids are extremely artistic and musically talented. Sarina supported husband Dan's music dreams and now feels it's her turn to build her career. While she's out working all day and rehearsing or performing her burlesque shows at night, Dan (45) takes care of the kids and household chores with help from Grandma, who loves taking care of the family but sometimes admits she takes care of the kids more than the parents do. Sarina prides herself on teaching the kids to be responsible and independent, including getting themselves -- and her -- up in the morning.
 
Q: Why did you want to be on Wife Swap?
A: I thought it would be a unique experience, and I hoped to raise public awareness about the uniquely American art form that is burlesque.

Q. What parts of the swap did you enjoy?
A: I really enjoyed learning how to throw an axe; it was hard at first but once I got the hang of it, I started hitting bull's-eyes!

Q. What parts of the swap did you find the hardest?
A: It was very difficult for me to restrain myself from cleaning the Robarge's house before rule change, and even after we cleaned it, it was a LOT dirtier than I am comfortable with.... and sawing that giant log with the bow saw all by myself was so hard, it almost made me throw up!

Q. How did the kids cope with the swap?
A: My kids are very flexible and used to a lot of activity, so the swap didn't seem to phase them too much; they thought Andrea was a nice lady, even if she was a bit "weird."

Q. Do you relate to your family differently?
A: I don't relate to my family any differently than before the swap. In spite of what the Robarge's think about the amount of time we spend together, I make time for each kid one on one in addition to family time, and our quality time helps us maintain a close bond.

Q. Would you do it again?
A: I don't think anything can prepare you for how hard the swap really is. I travel a lot so I'm used to being away from my kids for a few days at a time, but I always check in; during the swap I wasn't allowed ANY contact with my family, and that was the longest I've ever gone without at least talking to them on the phone. I'd have to say that I probably would not do it again for that reason alone.

I saw that one-but I don't think this is the one is it Neon?
I like this show actually, and look forward to watching.

One wife is from Key West and I know her personally. The other wife is from? The 2 women don't know one another nor to whose house, they are going.
