Unluckiest Charm in the Box
That may sound like an extremely crazy question, but believe it or not, this has actually been proven to be true. On Sept 12th, we had the brightest full moon of the summer, and with it there was a lof of very unusual activities flurrying about.
Scientific study has shown that Wolf Spiders tend to become more violent and aggressive during full moons, and tend to "transform" or appear larger than they usuall are. This has been linked to two reasons:
1) The unusual brightness of the moon tends to bring out small moths and other insects that are attracted to light. Seeing that Wolf Spiders prey on these type of insects, they tend to become more aggressive towards catching them
2) Wolf Spiders tend to "transform" or appear larger than normally during this time period due to all of the excess feeding that they have accomplished.
I know this sounds totally rediculous, but we have had scientist has actually proven these things as fact!
Go Figure....
