R.I.P. Tony Scott

I don't know why anyone who doesn't know the man would be angry at him, especially when no one knows what was wrong with him. The media doesn't know anything more than the basic facts, everything else is speculation.

I am angry at him because regardless of who he is, or how much money he had, he left his children with no father.

The problems in his life are over now, the problems in theirs will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Life is full of problems, lots of people go on without their fathers. Being angry at a stranger is pointless. His kids are left better off than most kids in similar situations. At least they'll never worry about having their basic needs met.

I don't care how wealthy he was, people with mental health issues do not always get the help they need. He obviously felt like there was no help, or hope, or he wouldn't have ended his own life. I can't judge someone harshly for that.

If I have learnt anything in the last ten years of internet use, its not to drag out an argument.

I think it's a worthwhile debate to have, whisky, but as Cassie says, in this particular case we don't yet know what the reasons were, so it's not really best to use this as an example.

At this point it could turn out he was high on drink or drugs and didn't think it through at all, so not much point getting angry at him specifically.

I too am really angry that someone with obvious emotional problems didn't take the time to think things out rationally with a spreadsheet and everything.

It's almost like his emotional problems and probable depression were effecting his judgement or something...
