"Rage"

Such rage lives inside me,
a very ugly rage and a cowardly
fear of nothing and everything,
simultaneously engulfing and suffocating.
Such rage resides within
my soul, intermingling dreams of nightly
horror and hope. An eagle like
an angel swoops down to pluck.
Such rage consumes my heart,
cold and black, hard and coarse.
Periodic beats of rhythms empty the
crimson void of past aches and pain.
Such rage seethes internally,
Such rage and anger and fear
and hope and deliverance. Such
rage deep like the abyss...
