Won't happen, because the displacement of that job happened a few generations ago.

That’s less than $6 an hour, well below federal minimum wage. A separate Associated Press report about Alabama tomato pickers described a crew of American workers who made $24 each for a day’s work. "

That's the twin problem of wage contraction and legal labor displacement I was talking about. Farmers (many of whom are subsidized by government) are paying below minimum wage prices. Americans don't turn down that deal because they're lazy -- they turn it down because they're not stupid. Bust the farmers for paying less than minimum wage.

Because those who would form the commission already have a track record of hiding the truth from, and actively lying to, the public -- and because we know they mean to use that commission to seize even more power, and to exert that power on citizens in even more dangerous ways.

Don't like the "Patriot Act"? You shouldn't. This commission is being formed to legitimize the next, even worse version.
