Just testing.

But I did see him on the bus one night last week. He's just the same in person as most of his oddball characters.

He was in two episodes of stargate atlantis that most of the fans seem to hate, but I didnt mind.

I think they are just pissed off that he wasnt playing teh same character he played for about 5 seconds in the original film

Never realized the Stargate connection.

He's been doing a lot of theater since his TV heyday, when he was a regular on both Spin City and Mad About You. He was a replacement for Nathan Lane in The Producers, and also spent quite a while touring in the Stephen Sondheim musical "Bounce", which toured forever while being rewritten but never made it to Broadway.

I thought he was one of the best characters in Spin City.

My favourite episodes where the one where he takes everyones money to buy fans for everyone, but ends up buying one massive fan for himself from a battleship

Where they have a beard growing competition, and he has a full one by the afternoon

And where they keep replacing his shoes with identicle ones half a size smaller.

Of course the bit with him on who wants to be a milionaire was also a clasic.
