I know everybody pretty much figured out Book's backstory, and they killed him off, but I still lived in hope we'd see him onscreen again one day.

Everyone from my view of the 70s is dying. RIP.
I remember in the 80s he co-starred in a black version of The Odd Couple as Felix. It only lasted a season, but it was 10 times better than the current remake. And I say that as a big Matthew Perry fan.

Remember when he was in a couple of episodes of SHIELD and we thought he'd be an important character then he just...wasn't in it again? (Of course he could have been ill at the time and unable to appear again and we didn't know.)
