There is no .22 round that can penetrate body armor, correct?

Someone asked me, and fucked if I could remember, but I felt there wasn't.

I don't think so.

Though, ironically enough, a .22 round killed an off-duty sherriffs deputy out here on the west coast about a month ago. Mugging gone wrong or some such. So, they can kill, if you plug the dude/gal in the right spot.

All I know is, there is a .22lr and .22 Magnum. Methinks the magnum would pack more punch. I don't know since I don't have either, or plan to.
