I want to smell dark matter
I'LL BE SUPPORTING THE ONLY SCOTTISH CONTESTANT ALL THE WAY...no, I can't do it. Horrible. Will stay in for far too long.

Age: 37

From: Glasgow

Occupation: Unemployed

Status: Single

Why Big Brother? "Because I’ve never had the flatmate or housemate experience as I’ve lived by myself for nearly 21 years and I want to challenge myself"

Trivia
• Admits that he has never been in love and has never had a boyfriend as he thinks men are afraid of his flamboyant personality
• Claims he has a phobia of straight-acting homophobic homosexuals and would like to be reincarnated as a woman so that he can have children
• Has been unemployed for 21 years, although has done a lot of voluntary care work since he was 16, helping the disabled and people with special needs in his local community

Mentythoughts:

Flamboyantly gay Scottish muslim. Possibly going to be annoying, but since he will most likley be annoying to all the Spice boys I like him so far.

Possible comedy factor: 7

I FUCKING HATE HIM. I was watching the live feed earlier and he had a fight with Seezer (which is fine) but then he got up, took a big choclate cake the others were eating and THREW IT IN THE BIN! They just fished it out and ate it anyway. What a baby. DIE.

Was I right about him: Well he didn't stay in too long...

Shahbaz was mentally ill and never should have been in the house. That much is obvious. It's true that it was horrible watching him being bullied. But you can't totally blame the housemates (ALTHOUGH THEY DESERVE SOME OF THE BLAME). The real blame goes to the producers for putting him in there. It must be hard to deal with a nutter, especially one who was determined to be hated by his fellow housemates. He saw it as "playing his part". He couldn't have lasted any longer than he did, I'm not even sure if he was removed or walked out. Never should ahve been in. Fraggle.s

Was He A Good Housemate: He never should have been in there. He did give us something to talk about for the first week, I suppose.

Best moment: (not shown on the highlights) when he said "DO WHAT MUST BE DONE LORD VADER" before hiding all the food in a box outside. For some reason.

Never had a roommate before, and his first experience with it is on BIG BROTHER???

I would've pegged him for slitting his own throat after one week.

Final thoughts:

For me Shahbaz was the comedy factor that took Big Brother through the first week. I did find him funny but it was painful to watch his sheer stubborness at accepting any actual blame for his weird social behavior. This probably reached it's hardest point to still have sympathy for him when Sezer and George did actually give him a chance to talk things out and he couldn't bring himself to see reality blaming his behaviour on sleep deprivation or something while never really taking responsibility.

He was seriously not right in the head and it was obvious that Big Brother was worried about having put in a mentally unstable nut-job (more than usual) that was quickly having a major break-down on live TV to that extent. Everyone did gang-up on him to the point of total and utter exclusion and while I don't agree with that bullying mentality you do have to be insanely hard to deal with to manage to get EVERYBODY to hate you to the point of finding common ground with eachother and actually make time to activley hate you.

Good housemate: Yes. I think he was but like Wacky said he probably shouldn't have been in there. He was good for the amount of time he was there because he was the biggest talking point and actually stirred things up (good traits no matter what the situation on BB) but he crashed and burned so quickly. He had no staying power. Would of liked to see him stay another week but no longer. The fact is he couldn't handle it but for the 6 days he was there he was good water-cooler fodder I guess. .. Not that I have a water-cooler or anything...

Best moment: Hiding the food. Too funny.

I never really saw Shahbaz, since I missed the first week while on holiday, and didnt see much of the second week, but from what I have seen, he does seem genuinly insane, and I cant for the life of me see how he got past the programs councillers, among with the four other contestants with varing degrees of mental illness.

Whisky, they care more about good entertainment than the mental health of the housemates. But he DID lie about his past mental problems apparently. Still, they should have been able to tell just by talking to him that he was CUCKOO-BANANAS.
