Shatner blasts Takei for not inviting him to Wedding.

I'm with Bill on this one. Takei is fucking twisted. Sure, Bill was a jerk and is probably having a bit of selective memory with not remembering why Takei dislikes him so much but the truth of the matter is that Takei is JEALOUS of the star role that Bill had. Sulu just wasn't that important a character. GET OVER IT.

I agree, although I do have to wonder out of the three Shatner weddings, how many Takie was invited to.

lol

I think it's pretty much a given that most of the main cast didn't really like Shatner.

And yet none of them took the oppertunity to not appear in STV.

Well, Nimoy's best friends with Shatner, and I'm sure they all like him.

I agree with a lot of what Shatner says. We've all thought Takei was a bit nuts just on the basis of that whole Excelsior thing. But when you get married you invite the people you love most, so why would you invite someone who says themself that they barely know you? I don't think the marriage snub is a big deal.

Takei complained about almost every film

In II he complained Shatner deliberately kept fluffing the line about Sulu getting promoted to captain until there wasn't enough time to film it.

In III he argued that Sulu shouldnt be called Tiny, and almost refused to film what was his best scene

In IV he blamed a child actor and his pushy mother for blowing a scene were a little asian kid says his name is Hikaru Sulu and it turns out to be his great g g g g grandfather. (how ironic would it be if that was the guy who plays Hiro?)

In V he thought his character was being used just as comic releif, althogh later had to admit he probably had more screen time and lines of dialogue than in any other trek movie.

I guess he was happy with VI since he finally got his own ship.

Whats his deal?

He thinks he would have had a much better career, if only he had been allowed to make a few extra lines per episode or film.

Why would Shatner purposely want to blow the line about Sulu being a captain anyway? Why would he care enough?

ALSO: How come Nimoy wasn't at Takei's wedding? DOES HE HATE GAYS?

Does Sulu have entitlement issues or something?

Well he campaigned for a Sulu tv series in the nineties to little (well, no) success.

Now, now, he did manage to get one episode produced, although that was only a Flashback. :rimshot:

Nimoy was unable to attend the wedding because he was in NY selling photos of fat naked ladies (possibly to gay men).

I watched Flashback last night, with a queue of other VOY episodes that I fell asleep to.

It was good. But "Trials and Tribble-ations" blew its Delta Quadrant ass right outta the water.

RECKANIZE DA SISKO BITCHAZZZZZ!

Yeah, Flashback kind of sucked because of the continuity issues and stuff, but it did have Janeway smashing Janice Rand's head in.

And Tuvok mentally raping her while Janeway got her clothes off made my tits perky.

"THERE WAS...A VIOLATION OH NOES!"

trials and tribbles fucking rocked hardcore though.

"we do not discuss it with outsiders!" ha, take that, nerds!

Julian getting it on with his own great great great great grandmother was HAWT.

WHICH MATT GROENING STOLE FOR FUTURAMA (not to mention stealing from Little Green Men) WHEN HE MADE THE ROSWELL EPISODE.

So that's why Julian was born wrong.
