SlipStream had become, for all intents and purposes, a private forum for 5-6 people who posted there. They soon ran everyone else off the board. They appeared to be pefectly content with just the 5-6 active members they had. Any other members who tried posting there were jumped on and driven off with pitch forks and torches.

HF had pinned his "promise to the members" thread wherein he swore he would never, ever, ever close down the forum like he did to the original SlipStream, no matter what happened. Of course, that was in the beginning when he had over 200 members and the board was active.

Guess I shouldn't have counted on his "promise" huh?
